I'm so happy you've come across my website; I can't wait to meet you soon, but before I do this webpage will tell you a bit about me. I've worked in Nature connection and youth development for 23-years as a former wildlife conservationist, environmental volunteer manager, international youth worker, community projects officer and as an eco-consciousness thought leader. Nowadays, at 42, I still support young people, but I'm also a pilgrim, Trustee of GreenSpirit, a new edition to the writing and editing team of GreenSpirit magazine, a writer of Nature connection and a land guardian; living a semi-sustainable life in the mountains.

MY SKILLS TO WORK WITH YOU

Over the years, venturing alone, far from my UK Wirral home, I fulfilled my "impossible" childhood dreams. I've lived in Ecuador, Zambia, Uganda, Spain and Kenya. In these rural and urban locations, I developed a myriad of sustainable youth-led and community-led voluntary projects with various NGOs; supporting vulnerable and marginalised young people facing injustice, extreme poverty and inequality. And, before and after each project, I stayed in solitude with Nature, alone; gathering many stories of camping in lonely jungle islands, giant anacondas in the Amazon, a silverback Gorilla sitting next to me shoulder-to-shoulder, swimming with Galapagos iguanas and penguins, fierce storms, forest elephants, eerie snake-filled caves, humpback whales appearing next to the boat at sunset, etc., etc.! Have worked globally with thousands of young people (aged 11-30) from over 32 countries
Worked on numerous environmental projects; also managing their environmental volunteers
Helped to grow and co-lead an initiative to plant 10,000 trees & surveyed bats across the UK
Am a Trustee for the charitable organisation GreenSpirit

Led several successful global youth mentoring and coaching programmes; including sustainable peer-mentoring for orphans and peer-coaching for young people living in high levels of poverty

Led a large team of 22+ professional wellbeing coaches and therapists, for two years, as a Lead Coach and Trainer
Hold an ICF & EMCC accredited 135-hour ACTP Professional Coach Certification
Am an EMCC Accredited Mentor & Coach at Senior Practitioner Level
Have 22 years' youth mentoring and 15 years' youth coaching experience
Am an experienced online trainer of youth coaches and wellbeing coaches (ICF-approved ACSTH & CCE), with 15-years in-person coach training experience for NGOs in the UK and across Africa
Spoke at the EMCC 27th Mentoring, Coaching & Supervision Conference & EMCC GPS Summit
Hold a B.Sc. (Hons) in Wildlife Conservation and have worked on many ecological projects
Hold a Post-Graduate Diploma, MA level, in Youth and Community Studies with Distinction
