HOW DOES AN ECO-INNERSENSE

EARTH STEWARDSHIP WORK?

​​​​ 

• We need conservationists, climate activists, environmentalists etc. that work 'with' Nature and local communities (Nature-led and community-led) as empowered Nature connected Earth Stewards, not just 'on' Nature feeling disempowered and lonely. The Eco-Innersense Earth Stewardships Programme aims to equip you to do this effectively. 

• For young people, aged 18-30, who study, protect, volunteer or work with Nature and Planet Earth in one way or another, living anywhere in the world. 

• You must have some vision of what you'd like to work on in the future, even if it's not a complete idea, yet. In addition, the mentorship will work best if you are already working or volunteering on an existing environmental/Nature-based project in one way or another, or have been in the past. If you do not have any vision of the project, studies, specialism or work you'd like to do to support Nature and Planet Earth, yet, it would be highly recommended that you complete Life Purpose Coaching first for full impact. You can also do both Purpose Coaching & an Earth Stewardship side-by-side.

• You will attend a 50-minute, one-to-one, once monthly mentoring session with Leah for 10-months.

• You'll receive 50-exercises in total covering various topics such as: natural leadership, vision, passions and purpose, eco-therapeutic activities for mental fitness and resilience, emotional intelligence, compassion and empathy, coaching skills, communicating as a leader, worldview and perspective, the more-than-human world, Nature connection, spiritual ecology, traditional ecological knowledge, sacred geography and your impact on the planet as an Earth steward, etc., etc. One exercise will be released weekly over a 10-month period; they're fun and reflective, not arduous.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

• Leah utilises a model she has developed over time: S.O.A.M.I. (Self, Others, An-Other, Merge, Impact)

• You can take one or two months off over the summer and/or winter to have a break. 

• One exercise must be completed each week over the 10-month period with full attendance of all one-to-one sessions for certification and to receive a job/study reference from Leah. 

• One additional exercise will be discussed, impromptu, in our one-to-one session, along with anything important to you as part of your mentorship e.g. wellbeing, vision, project ideas, experience of the homework exercises, etc.  

• This is a leadership development mentoring programme co-created with Nature; so, it is very important that you aspire to grow your leadership skills and want to do this with an open mind by learning from both Leah and Nature, as your co-mentors. You will be completing exercises in Nature or natural places (see FAQs).

• Places are not guaranteed on this unique programme; interested young people, aged 18-30, need to apply for a place. See below...

HOW TO APPLY

Eco-Innersense Earth Stewardships take a year-long mentoring approach and require an application to ensure you are the right person for this intensive programme. To apply, make sure you've read all of the above information, and then:

 

1. Book a FREE consultation, answering the questions you'll be prompted to answer on my Calendly profile. Note: I will be increasing meeting availability during August for applicants. But, if there's a slot available now that suits you, do book it. If many people apply, there may come a point where I have no more availability for new applicants; it's just me after all. Book it early to avoid disappointment. 

 

2. Email leah@ecoinnersense.com with your CV and/or LinkedIn link.  

 

3. Record a 2-3 minute video that answers: What makes you the perfect Earth Steward for this mentorship? You can share whatever you feel is important to answer this question, even in a creative, fun or "traditional" way. Think of your video like a non-professional cover letter, sharing things in it like:

 

Why you want and need an Eco-Innersense Earth Stewardship, why it suits you, how you'll use it, how you'll commit to it, why you want to work with Leah and Nature, why I would want to work with you, why Nature wants and needs you to complete this stewardship, where you hope to be in 5-years, what you'll do after it to help Nature, how you'll create a ripple effect or pay-it-forward etc. etc. I'm looking for passion, commitment and dedication, and potential for impact and action. 4. Attend your free consultation, with your camera on, and expect me to ask you some informal questions - this will be a two-way meeting, but it won't be like a formal interview. It'll be friendly, chatty and explorative. It's for both of us to find out if we can work together for a full year and for me to sense your passion and potential for impact. I may ask you to prove your age in the consultation, so please have some I.D. to hand. NOTE: send me your CV/LinkedIn and video before your free consultation date.

10 FREE Places are Available from October 2025-July 2026 in Return for Your: Constructive feedback to improve the mentorship for other young people ('Nothing for Youth Without Youth'). And, a video testimonial and quotes from your feedback that I can share on social media platforms and this website to promote the programme. A maximum of three places per country will be awarded to ensure participant diversity. 

Deadline to apply is 10th October 2025. All applicants will be informed if they have been selected or not by the 15th October. Successful Earth Stewards will start the week after, commencing 20th October.
